Client Objective

RPR Mexico is a long established Property Management powerhouse in Rocky Point Mexico. With several hundred properties in multiple resorts, and homes, their property management software must be reliable, secure and functional. Unhappy with their previous software system, RPR looked for a company that offered an all around better product. It was important to them to have a property management software that was logical and easy to use. They wanted to avoid unnecessary steps and over complicated processes in hopes to increase their overall productivity. They needed reservation methods that were straight forward, functional and efficient. Previously the software provider made the customer leave RPR’s website to make a reservation. This created a sense of discomfort with many customers and often times resulted in losing that clients business. They wanted a software that could integrate into their own website where the customer never had to leave the website. Also, RPR was desperately in need of a housekeeping module to manage the day to day activities of the housekeeping services. With RPR’s dedication to their owners, they were looking for a software that provided a user friendly, highly resourceful owner module with specific functionality. RPR also required a company that could tweak and customize the software as unique issues arose in a timely manner.

 

ResortPRO Solutions

In the developmental stages of ResortPRO, user friendliness and logical flow were of primary importance. When RPR was exposed to the user interfaces and the easy to understand architecture of the system, they thought they may have found the right system. Within any business efficiency is of upmost importance and ResortPRO functionality offered RPR a user friendly, highly efficient system to increase productivity and decrease cost. ResortPRO allows an RPR customer to stay on RPR’s website during the booking process. ResortPRO can either integrate a booking engine into a company’s current website or build a new website to compliment the booking technology. RPR was in need of a housekeeping management system and ResortPRO had a module for housekeeping that was highly effective and easy to understand. In addition to the housekeeping module, ResortPRO offers dedicated modules to Travel Agents, Front Desk Users, Owners and Administrators. Each of these systems shares information between one another in real time to reflect current system data. One of the biggest solutions for RPR was the owner landing pages that are automatically generated for each owner. This means that each owner gets a specific web address that their property can be viewed and booked on. Within ResortPRO the owner landing page is referred to as the owner business card. This came about because the owner could show this webpage on a business card and distribute the web address this way to market their property. The owner will automatically receive the extra commission if a customer books there. It allows an owner to become their own travel agent in a way. Within ResortPRO, the owner allows owners to view monthly statements online, communicate directly with management, manage maintenance tasks, view reservation reports and much more. RPR’s previous software provider was incapable of timely and affordable customization. Perhaps, the biggest reason RPR chose ResortPRO as their provider was the timely development and willingness to customize at an affordable rate. An example of ResortPRO customization is RPR’s check writing capability that was developed in the system by ResortPRO.
